I am the happiest girl right now.
1. I have run the past 2 days and have tried my best not to complain about anything.
2. I rewarded myself with an iced coffee.  the girl always looks at me funny when I say I want a black iced coffee. Yeah, I am weird, deal with it.
3. I may be addicted to caffeine, so sue me.
4. I am making homemade pizza for dinner. 
5. I really like making lists.

I hope everyone else is having a lovely Tuesday, or is as caffeinated and happy as I am.

Ps- Caffeine is such a weird word.

SUN RUN

I woke up this morning in a state of Euphoria. It is currently 61 degrees AND March7th.  So, I decided that I was going to go for a run instead of go to class.  Sorry for being the worst student ever, but I love me some vitamin D more than environmental issues today.  The best 5 miles I have run in such a long time! I literally cannot wait for it to be warm out so I can continue my runs outside.  

It just reminds me of how much I love summer, it’s almost a problem. ANYWAY. I hope everyone else is having a lovely Wednesday and that the sun is shining near you! 

Us people from the Northeast have to embrace these sunny days when we get the because it’s a rarity, especially in March!

My Friday night

So, last night all of my roommates were going out, plus a bunch of guys that had never been to our campus, so we were planning on hitting up ALL of the bars.  I made the executive decision to be smart and not drink because it is not worth throwing my workout of the day out the freaking window and then also eating pizza because it’s completely inevitable.

DESPITE everyone making fun of me for not drinking and being at 3 different food places after the bars I did not drink anything besides water and I did not eat pizza.  The most important thing I took out of this is that I can go out and not drink and not give a shit about what other people are doing. I still had a blast and I am not hungover, DOUBLE WIN!

Also, now I feel refreshed for my workout today AND I met a cute boy at the bar.  He was wearing a Toon Squad jersey, like Space Jam reference.  We are clearly meant to be.  Overall successful Friday. I hope everyone else is having a glorious weekend!

rough realization

So, even though I have been keeping up with my running, I have been snacking hardcore and I have slowly but surely been gaining weight.  During the week I am a champion at not eating 5 million chocolate chips but come Saturday all bets are off.  This is becoming a trend, one that I want to break, but I just feel like I am struggling with it.  

Especially because I can notice where I am gaining, and it’s putting me further and further away from my goal.  I miss the body I had back in October so much, and I had the best habits in the world back then. UGH FOR desserts.

ANYWAY, I know I just have to practice everything in moderation but it’s extremely difficult for me. The worst.  So, it’s Sunday. I am going to run later and today is going to be a good day. 

If anyone has any feedback it would be the most appreciated!

Last night home

I head back to school tomorrow. I am so excited to see everybody because it’s been forever (or it just seems that way).  I just went to the gym. Lovely 5 ish miles done and abs as well.

I have a bunch of laundry to do and I have to round up all of the stuff that has been scattered around since I came home.  GAH I CAN’T WAIT.

The gym at school is closed tomorrow so I plan on waking up early and getting one last workout in here (6AM, we’ll hope for the best) and to get my money’s worth.

THIS IS ME HAVING A MINOR FREAKOUT BECAUSE I AM A SECOND SEMESTER SENIOR IN COLLEGE! I have my Biology major and Chem minor all squared away so it’s a matter of not slacking too much this semester, haha. Everybody have an excellent Monday!

Run, Liz. Run!

Quick 5.5 mile run today.  I did intense abs last night and I can surely feel it today.  I love the pain that comes after a tough workout because it means something magical is happening.

If only Abs of steel we’re made in a day. I will continue to dream.

Is it weird that I’d prefer abs over prince charming at the moment? True weirdo status.
